There are so many items around the home, exterior and interior, that require a little care from time to time. A little attention now will extend the life of components that keep us comfortable, preserve the home itself, or are elements of the conveniences we all take for granted. Air conditioning compressor units need cleaned, cedar shake shingles need to be GENTLY cleaned with a product that does not strip wood from the surface or kill vegetation other than the moss. Gutters should be maintained or protected, slope and drainage should be maintained, or directed away from your foundation. Dryer exhaust vents must be cleaned at least every other year. Are your hand rails wobbly? Grab bars dangling?
