Mr. Handyman of Greater Grand Rapids donated time and materials to update and refurbish one of the bathrooms in this 1920s-era compound in East Grand Rapids. The Wilcox Estate was built to be used as a recreational community compound for the families of real estate developer and financier Frederick Potter Wilcox in about 1923.

GR Symphony Showhouse 2010 - Front Entry

The buildings have been renovated as a single family home and through donations from local designers and contractors like Mr. Handyman, The Showhouse is a fundraiser to benefit the orchestra and its education programs. The house is located at 701 Laurel Circle SE, East Grand Rapids. You can visit May 1st - May 23rd and purchase tickets at the door. Enjoy your visit while getting ideas about repairs and renovations to update your own home! Check out the beautiful new tile floor that Mr. Handyman installed in the children’s bathroom.
