"When the housing market dropped, our business did as well. People were gun shy on investing in their homes. As things started to improve so did Mr. Handyman sales. They have been increasing significantly - we're up over 10% now for comp sales. Because our focus is on maintenance and home repair people are only able to put those things off for so long. Many remodeling projects had been put on hold through the recession though demand is starting to slowly come back. Homeowners are looking to improve the homes that they have instead of moving."
