'Ice Dams' can damage your roof and home

You may be asking yourself, "what the heck is an ice dam"? But if you're a home owner and live in a region that gets snow and ice during the winter, you may want to keep reading. Ice dams occur when your gutters get clogged with snow and ice, and water runoff can't go anywhere but under your shingles and into your home. If not properly addressed, ice dams can really do some damage. Below is an example of the damage an ice dam can do.
