2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer 5K Run/Walk

Our Community Matters…Each quarter our local Neighborly group strives to reach out to our community offering support towards a good cause.

This fall quarter we created a team called Get Neighborly and registered to walk or run in the 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer 5K Run/Walk that took place on Saturday, October 19^th. Although we didn’t sign up to be recognized we did end up winning an award for having the largest team at the event with 18 team members from Mr. Handyman, Aireserv, Glass Doctor and Mosquito Joe. Included in our count were not only owners of these brands but also employees and family members. So next year we plan to come back even stronger with more Neighborly participants and more money raised.

These local community events not only allow us to help others outside of our work endeavors but have provide us with a special time of Neighborly fellowship. Working for a cause creates a joyful environment amongst us where we can relax and get to know each other better. Working side by side outside the business world has reinforced the fact that each of us share the same values and care for our community. We challenge other Neighborly groups across the country to participate in a ZERO Prostate Cancer event or any other local fundraising activity in their area! Let’s Get Neighborly!
