A: Our field staff carry tablet computers and both the field and office are connected and collaborating via a shared platform. Our field staff can take pictures which the office can see and share with realtors, or remote owners so they understand any situations we’re dealing with at the property. Our tablets can process credit card payments at the jobsite, and we can then email the customer their invoice/receipt right from that same tablet. GPS enabled vans allow our Customer Service staff to see who our closest available personnel are when we need to route somebody to a job.
Tethering our staff to the office with tablets offers many other benefits and keeps the two sides working more closely then companies who staff carry a cell phone and a clipboard full of paper invoices.
