Handyman installed for us a staircase on our Deck. The team was supportive and patient during the permit process. Jason was our lead on the construction, he did a great job. This is a follow up review on Mr Handyman. I first posted that I was not satisfied about the job completion, and posted a much lower review. Well, Surprisingly the Owner himself came to my home to get a first hand view of the project. He listened to my concerns on the projects. The first project was completed but the fence didn’t need as much repair as first thought. He offered right away to reduce the labor cost, and save me money! I mean who does that anymore. The 2nd project ended up to be a combination of trying to work with the last contractor work, who didn’t really have a clue and installed the gate posts incorrectly and the problems that are inherit with the PVC fencing material. Had the post originally been installed correctly. It wouldn’t be a problem, but my handyman, a great guy, figured out a way to fix it to my satisfaction, and I’m picky. All in all, I found it amazing that they cared so much about the job they did that. They actually came out and tried their best to make me happy. That doesn’t happen in the construction world. Communication is the key to any project and I would have to say that I probably dropped the ball in the communication department. Yet they still fixed it. I will recommend them to anyone who needs anything, Repaired even after someone else started a job and they’re coming behind their work and trying to fix the problem they left(which also doesn’t happen in the Construction world). Just don’t do what I did, and don’t assume they know what’s in your head. As I said before, I would recommend them to do any job that you would need to do.

After nightmares with Thumbtack & Angie’s list, I finally found a company with real contractors who have proven skills that even come with a guarantee on their work!!! Rick Grooms delivered quality service with a pleasant personality. He answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. He earned my trust and was very understanding. Once again very satisfied with the work that was done this morning. I needed my front door to be painted and the shower tiles to be recaulked.
