Great service from Mr. Handyman to fix the air vent to my dryer. He came out on Christmas Eve in the rain and provided excellent customer service. Explained every detail about what the issue was and what was needed.

Adam was punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable. The problem has not been resolved but needs further evaluation from an engineer to determine the underlying cause of our problem. Some companies might have just tried to move forward without taking this extra step and we appreciate his honesty.

Had an amazing experience with Mr. handyman. I called Them Monday morning and they had a handyman to my house by 11 AM. The handyman’s name was Adam and he is by far the best handyman I have ever had. Adam was able to uninstall and install Two sets of appliances, As well as move them out of my house. He even went to the store to get better materials to ensure that the appliances were installed to the highest level. He also completed all of this within a couple of hours. During this experience, he was also happy to show me how and why certain things worked the way they did and operated the way they did. I would recommend Adam and Mr. handyman to anybody and will be using them several times over the next couple of months and years.

Adam did a great job replacing my leaking wax ring. He discussed with d highly recommend himme about why the tile was lifting and checked the crawlspace to see if the floor was wet (it wasn't). He updated the seal using rubber instead of wax which last much longer and won't deform like the wax ring did. I was very pleased with the work Adam did and would highly recommend him.

This review is long overdue—as usual, but I must leave a glowing review for Julie and Brian at Mr. Handyman of Charleston. My elderly mother needed a small fence in her backyard to let out her dog. I was able to find a used vinyl fence that was perfect for her, but because of an injured back, I was unable to install it for her. I called Julie at Mr. Handyman who was super friendly, accommodating, and sensitive to my mother’s situation. She sent Brian over for the estimate, and he immediately made my mom feel at ease and was just as friendly and kind as Julie. My mom spoke very highly of him. After I jumped through many hoops to get everything approved with permits and such, Brian was able to come install the fence. Sadly, the weather didn’t allow him to get very far on the day we agreed upon, so we rescheduled for two days later. However, his schedule opened up and he contacted me the next day and asked if he could come over with a helper to knock it out. And did they ever! They did an amazing job! They even sent me pictures upon completion with my mom and her dog in the background. Mom even gave Brian a hug. Having the fence has put both of our minds at ease. A month prior, her dog pulled her to the ground after seeing a squirrel and mom suffered some injuries. And now, thanks to Brian, his helper, and Julie, mom can just let her out to do her business. I can’t thank the team enough at Mr. Handyman of Charleston for working with me with such care, professionalism, and a high quality of craftsmanship. They were never pushy, and they always listened to my concerns. The line of communication was always open (Brian always kept me updated on his whereabouts), and they genuinely cared about helping my mother out to avoid any other incidents. That meant a lot to me. Thanks so much for a job well-done!

They answered the estimate request in a timely manner, showed up on time, completed the estimate and performed the work in the same day. Their bill was not over priced for the work involved.

This is a follow up review on Mr Handyman. I first posted that I was not satisfied about the job completion, and posted a much lower review. Well, Surprisingly the Owner himself came to my home to get a first hand view of the project. He listened to my concerns on the projects. The first project was completed but the fence didn’t need as much repair as first thought. He offered right away to reduce the labor cost, and save me money! I mean who does that anymore. The 2nd project ended up to be a combination of trying to work with the last contractor work, who didn’t really have a clue and installed the gate posts incorrectly and the problems that are inherit with the PVC fencing material. Had the post originally been installed correctly. It wouldn’t be a problem, but my handyman, a great guy, figured out a way to fix it to my satisfaction, and I’m picky. All in all, I found it amazing that they cared so much about the job they did that. They actually came out and tried their best to make me happy. That doesn’t happen in the construction world. Communication is the key to any project and I would have to say that I probably dropped the ball in the communication department. Yet they still fixed it. I will recommend them to anyone who needs anything, Repaired even after someone else started a job and they’re coming behind their work and trying to fix the problem they left(which also doesn’t happen in the Construction world). Just don’t do what I did, and don’t assume they know what’s in your head. As I said before, I would recommend them to do any job that you would need to do.

Mr. Handyman was out the next day for an estimate, needed some trim around my rear door and the grout in our kitchen was coming up. Adam arrived, gave multiple different options at different price points(which all seemed fair). They were out the following day to complete the work, Adam again was awesome, did fantastic work, pricing was reasonable and I am very happy with the finished product. I would definitely work with Mr. Handyman and especially Adam again!

Communication was a bit challenging but once we connected they did a great job at a reasonable price.
