Christmas Light Installation Vero Beach, FL

Your roofline is 12 feet up, the tile is all slick with the morning dew, and last year's strands are just one big knot in the garage. That's normally when we get the call. Mr. Handyman serving Vero Beach and Jupiter does the full Christmas light installation in Vero Beach from the very first measurement to the very last clip, so you don't lose a Saturday on a ladder. We work the layout around your rooflines, your palms, and your front entry, clip every strand so we don't crack the tile or pull at the fascia, and test every run before we leave. Many of our customers already know us as their Vero Beach handyman for repairs, and now they're handing us the lights too. Book a date in early November and your house will be lit by Thanksgiving weekend.

How Our Holiday Light Installation in Vero Beach Works

It starts with a walk around the property rather than a price sheet. One of our guys will measure the eaves, gutters, and ridgelines, count your outdoor outlets, and ask you how you'd like the house to look from the street. Warm white C9S tracing a tile roof in Orchid? Multicolor wraps climbing the palm trunks down the driveway? A simple line of lights on a one-story in Sebastian? We'll sketch it out and give you a written estimate with line items so you know exactly what the labor, clips, and materials are going to cost prior to anything being put up.

Before a single clip goes on, we check what it’s clipping to. Salt air and summer humidity are rough on fascia boards here, and we find soft wood behind gutters on homes near the Indian River Lagoon more often than you’d think. Clip lights to a rotted board and the first December cold front pulls the whole run loose. If we spot a problem, we’ll show you and quote the fix. Our team handles wood rot repair in-house, so the repair and the lights can be done in the same week.

Then we hang everything the way Treasure Coast homes need it. Barrel and flat concrete tile get tile clips that grip the edge without cracking it. Shingle roofs get clips that slide under the tab. Stucco and fascia never see a nail or a staple. We space clips about every 12 inches so strands don’t sag or flap, which matters on barrier island homes in Indian River Shores and North Beach, where winter gusts off the Atlantic can top 25 mph. Palm trunks get even spirals. Wreaths, garland, and lights along a deck or patio railing can be added to the same visit.

Power is where most DIY setups go wrong. We're plugging into your existing GFCI-protected outdoor outlets, using outdoor-rated cable and spreading the load so one outlet isn't carrying the whole house. The LED strands use a fraction of the power of the old incandescent sets, so your power bill in December is going to be a lot better. Every run is tested, and we can put the display on a timer so it comes on at dusk without you having to think about it at all.

Then we clean up and are done.

If a strand goes dark in mid-December or a wreath shifts after a storm, call us, and we’ll come back out. After the holidays, we take everything down, check the surfaces we clipped to, then coil and label the strands so they’re ready for next year. Takedown is also a good time to catch small exterior issues, like a loose gutter bracket or a piece of trim that needs attention.

We provide Christmas light installation in Vero Beach and across the Treasure Coast, from Sebastian and Fellsmere down through Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and Tradition to Stuart, Palm City, Hobe Sound, and Jupiter.

Why Vero Beach Homeowners Choose Us for Christmas Light Installation

Plenty of companies hang lights in November. Fewer of them can fix the fascia board the lights are hanging from.

That’s the difference with Mr. Handyman serving Vero Beach and Jupiter. Owner Gus Martinez spent more than 20 years in construction, property management, and facilities work before running our Stuart office, and he brings a general contractor’s eye to every job, including the ones that look simple from the curb. Our crew averages 12 years of hands-on experience. They spend the rest of the year on hurricane shutter installation, deck repair, and fence work across Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties, so they know exactly how salt air, sun, and sideways rain treat a roofline.

Here's what you can expect from us. We'll be there when we say we will, in uniform and in a marked van. You'll get a written estimate prior to any work commencing. We'll protect your roof tiles, your landscaping, and your lanai screens during the course of the work, and we'll leave the yard exactly as we found it, apart from the tangle of cords. Every job is covered by our Neighborly Done Right Promise®, so if anything's not right, we'll come back and make it right.

Local homeowners have given our team a 4.9 out of 5 rating across 648 reviews. Read what your neighbors say, then give us a call.

Vero Beach Christmas Light Installation FAQs

Any questions you've got before you book? Here are the answers that Vero Beach homeowners ask us most about: timing, cost, tile roofs, using your own lights, and what happens at the end of the season.

  • Late October is the ideal time. Our November calendar fills very quickly, as most people want their lights up by the time of Thanksgiving, and the December slots then go next. You can book 3-4 weeks in advance, and that gives you the time for the walk-around, any fascia/gutter work, and the actual installation. You can still do it in mid-December, just not as many dates to choose from.
