I had used them when I need a small drywall repair on a house I was moving out of. Here, in the new place, there just were not enough towel bars and those that were here were in the wrong place. This is a new place, and as seems usual these days, the builder only put 1 towel bar in each bathroom. I had wanted to install medicine cabinets all 3 bathrooms. The builders construction manager was walking by and when I told him what I wanted to do, he quickly said don't even think about it in one bathroom since all the electric cables, a/c piping, etc., was behind that wall. The rest of the house used metal studs instead of woods. With that in mind the handyman and I took at long look at the other 2 bathrooms and concluded at best it would be a lot of work especially with metal studs in the mix. Some rewiring might also be required. Naturally, you couldn't tell for sure until you made a good sized hole in the wall. He suggested shelves on the wall instead. That made sense. Given all the unknowns I decided to take that advice. Took the medicine cabinets back for a refund.

I've now hired Mr. Handyman on three different occasions and each time, I was completely satisfied. On this particular occasion, I had noticed that the ceiling drywall in the corner of my garage started slumping and the seam split in a couple of places. Worried that it would drop entirely, I contacted Chad at Mr. Handyman. As luck would have it, he had same-day availability. I was very pleased to find that Steven, the excellent contractor who had done my last job, was at my doorstep within hours. He got to work right away and securely reattached the drywall and even blended in the texture so that it was like it never even happened. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome and will certainly call again anytime I run into something that is outside of my comfort zone.

Today marks the second time I've used Mr. Handyman for a job that would otherwise require a general contractor. Just before a recent hurricane, I noticed that there was some leaking around some windows that turned out to be related to wood rot. Additionally, I've been struggling with rot issues around a pool closet that wasn't all that well designed. I filed a request with Mr. Handyman and Chad (the owner) promptly responded. Once again, I found Chad and the whole team at Mr. Handyman to be fantastic. He listened carefully to the concern, evaluated the issues and came up with the most cost-effective solutions. He made sure he set expectations in advance of scheduling the work and carefully chose his people that had the right skill set to do the job perfectly. Speaking of the right skillset — Steven, the lead technician on the job, was just phenomenal to work with. Have you ever met someone who just really knows their stuff and makes you feel at ease? That's Steven in a nutshell. He's worked in all aspects of construction and it shows in his confidence and the quality of his work. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire job and made sure I was completely satisfied. Additionally, I had relayed some struggles I was having caring for my elderly father, and he was a sympathetic ear – offering some advice and ultimately assuring me that he had my back on the house repairs so that I could focus on helping my Dad. There are just not enough people like Steven in the world. He is a rockstar. Additionally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Dylan, who helped assist Steven, he too was extremely professional and worked hard to help keep to the timeframe quoted. Ultimately, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner. The quality of work was fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased. I would not hesitate to hire 'Mr. Handyman' again in the future and would recommend their services to anyone.

The workers repaired a terrible mess created by the falling sheetrock ceiling in my garage. They worked the entire day and did a magnificent job. They cleaned up perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Handyman for any job.

They were very careful in their work, and they cleaned up completely when they were finished. In addition, they're really nice guys — I enjoyed having them in my house for two very long days.
