Mr. Handyman of Western Wake County Gives back on "Day of Service"
On September 12th, employees and owners from Mr. Handyman of Western Wake County and Real Property Management-Excellence participated in a Day of Service. We provided painting and repair services for The Carying Place , a non-profit organization in Cary, North Carolina. The Carying Place teaches homeless, working families with children, life skills for attaining independent living while providing short-term housing and support services to address their individual needs.
This is the 3rd year that Mr. Handyman has worked with The Carying Place for their annual Day of Service. We were also supported by the local Valspar representative who donated 10 gallons of Valspar wall paint.
During this year’s Day of Service we painted the walls & trim on the interior of one side of a duplex unit including:
- Living room
- Dining room
- Front hallway & upstairs hallway
- Stairwell & railings
- 3 bedrooms
- 2-1/2 baths
- Replaced (1) toilet
- Repaired textured ceiling
- Replace (3) bathroom exhaust fans
- Repaired kitchen drawer handles
- Repaired closet lock
- Replaced faulty light switches
- Replaced multiple switch & outlet covers
All together, over 75 hours of labor and $500 in materials were donated.
Mr. Handyman of Western Wake County takes a lot of pride in being the local professional handyman in the community. Call us today or request an estimate online for your next project that needs a handyman!
