Home Assembly FAQs
For over 25 years Mr. Handyman professionals have been helping homeowners and businesses repair, maintain, and enhance their space. We are a one-stop solution for everything on your to-do list. This includes answering your questions about home repairs, maintenance, and improvements. Here are answers to some of your most frequently asked questions about home assembly services.
How do I prepare for a home assembly service?
To ensure a smooth assembly process, we recommend clearing a spacious area near where you want the item placed. Make sure you have the item and any assembly instructions readily available. If you have any concerns about missing parts or hardware, feel free to contact us beforehand.
What's included in a home assembly service?
Our home assembly service includes experts who will arrive on time and fully prepared with the necessary tools to assemble your item. Once the assembly is complete, they’ll clean up the workspace to ensure no tools or packaging is left behind.
What if there are missing parts or damaged hardware in my package?
In the event that there are missing parts or damaged hardware in your package, please don't hesitate to let our service professionals know. They will assess the situation and may be able to improvise a solution using spare parts your service professionals have on hand. If not, we can advise you on the best course of action, which might involve contacting the manufacturer for replacements.
Do I need to be home during the assembly process?
No, you don't necessarily need to be home during the assembly process. As long as our service professionals have clear access to the item and workspace, they can complete the job independently. However, if you have any special instructions or questions, it can be helpful to be present.
What happens if the item is damaged during assembly?
Our service professionals are highly trained and take great care while assembling items. However, in the rare instance that damage occurs during assembly, our Neighborly Done Right Promise® ensures you’ll be happy with our work.
