• Depending on your type of light, start by inspecting each bulb to ensure it is not black, burnt, or has a broken filament. Replace as needed.
• Your bulb may also be loose. To ensure a solid connection, gently twist or push each bulb into its socket.
• You may also have an easily replaceable blown fuse hiding in a compartment inside the plug.
• Loose or damaged wiring may mean you must replace the strand altogether.

• Organizing by decoration type and placing your holiday decor in a designated, labeled container to make it easier to find particular items next year.
• Wrap fragile items in tissue paper, bubble wrap, sectioned boxes, or egg cartons to protect them.
• Use a cord reel, spool (or a DIY cardboard square) to wrap your lights around to avoid tabling.
• Wash, fold, and store your holiday linens in a vacuum-sealed bag or breathable container to prevent yellowing and protect them from moisture and dust. Consider adding mothballs or cedar blocks for a layer of pest control protection.

Once all items are in their proper storage boxes and bins, remember to stack them from heaviest to lightest in a place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and temperature fluctuations.
