Meet The Friendly Team at Mr. Handyman of Olathe, Gardner

Scott Fuhrmann, Owner & President, opened Mr. Handyman of Olathe-Gardner in early 2022. Scott grew up in the family plumbing business and worked in hardware stores while in school before spending over 25 years in management and executive roles for mid-to-high end retail companies with a focus on people development and customer service. He then realized the opportunity in the Olathe area to provide a professional handyman service; one that answers the phone, acts with respect and integrity, performs quality work, and cleans up after themselves. Each of his full-time service professionals are background checked, bonded/insured, and average 15+ years of skilled trade experience with guaranteed workmanship. Scott and his lovely wife Francine are on the board of their neighborhood HOA, are certified competition bbq judges, and enjoy watching their daughter play volleyball.

Kyle has over 20 years of skilled trade experience, including expertise in rough and trim carpentry, tile, and kitchen/bath remodeling. His hobbies include fishing, building aquariums, and grooving to country music!

Anthony has over 10 years of experience in construction and kitchen/bath remodeling, including expertise in rough and finish carpentry, tile and grout. He takes pride in working efficiently and cleanly, with clear communication.

Josh has over 10 years of trade experience, including expertise in project management and skilled at carpentry, doors, drywall, paint, tile and flooring. He believes that success starts with a positive attitude that he brings to work with him every day!

Brady is enthusiastic about providing a great client experience! His experience in guest services and dispatching, along with practical skills in electrical and other home improvement areas have him well suited to take your calls and set up both our clients and our service professionals for success. Brady has a young boy at home whom he is excited to teach/coach baseball to in the coming years!

Francine is the wizard behind the scene. She supports our marketing initiatives and vendor partnerships, as well as providing excellent moral support for Scott and the Team!

Schatzi works part-time at the office, serving as Greeter to staff and delivery people. Service Professional applicants must also pass her “sniff test”. She enjoys playing catch and scoring treats!
