Meet The Friendly Team at Mr. Handyman Central Metrowest

Our most experience and tenured Handyman, John has been at it for an incredible 40+ years, longer even than Mr. Handyman's™ 30 years in existence! He loves to design and execute finished basements, kitchen renovations/reconfigurations, and master bathrooms. Believing the perfect room starts from the ground-up, John takes great pride in his skill at laying all types of flooring, from hardwood to tile. Outside of guiding and helping the people of MetroWest and Greater Worcester, John enjoys fishing, landscaping, and just hanging out with his family.

A 26-year professional handyman, Tommy started his career as a roofer for 3 years, then moved to vinyl siding for 4, and finally moved during Y2K from the heat of Florida to the 4 full seasons of Massachusetts where he has lived and worked ever since, taking on such variety of jobs as: renovations, remodels, foundations, roofs, and everything in between! He now lives in southern MetroWest where he enjoys spending time with his family.

As a professional educator for over 12 years, and a handyman for over 10, Jeff is perfectly positioned to help the people of MetroWest and Greater Worcester by educating them about the needs of their homes and businesses. He then works diligently to repair, maintain, and enhance. Outside of work, Jeff likes camping and going to the beach with his family. He also plays guitar and piano (of course)... in short: Jeff Hyde is a vibe.

With nearly 20 years as a professional handyman prior to joining the Mr. Handyman team, Pat is excellent at carpentry, roofing, and painting. He is also top-notch at customer service, and regularly gets 5-star reviews for his combination of skill and speed and smiles! In addition to a woodcarving hobby, Pat also has been known to slug a softball in his free time.

A biochemist by education, Al excels as a dedicated and exceptionally affable Service Professional who is always looking for ways to make his neighbor's day. Whether it's power washing decks and patios, patching woodpecker holes, or petting dogs while reminiscing about good times, Al is a true 5-star man. In addition to his passion for the highest levels of customer service, Al also has experience creating rustic furniture. Having never left Massachusetts (except for that time he went college), Al now resides in the central part of the MetroWest region on the shore of a beautiful hidden lake with his wife, son, and poodle.

Chris is a Service Professional with decades of experience who worked at his father William's handyman company in his youth. After attending college, he spent time as a theology teacher before joining the Mr. Handyman team. Kind and helpful, Chris brings his experience and education to bear when teaching our neighbors about their homes and businesses. He is committed to providing master craftsman level service to everyone he encounters. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, Chris lives with his wife and baby daughter in northern MetroWest.

Our Operations Manager Matt excels at customer service, office administration, and maximizing systems and processes through vigorous organization. When he's not coordinating help for the people of MetroWest and Greater Worcester, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and golfing (although he does NOT excel at any of those), and spending time with his family (which he most definitely does excel at!)

Ethan the former nightclub bouncer is the friendly, laid-back voice you're likely to hear when you call our office. He's always happy to talk to a fellow coworker or to a citizen who needs help. He coordinates the schedules of all our Service Professionals every day. As an amateur handyman in his free time, Ethan specializes in light carpentry, painting, and assembly of everything from prefab furniture to backyard sheds. With six years as a "handyman" helping his dad around the house, Abram brings a youthful energy to the Mr. Handyman team, always looking for ways to improve the lives of our employees and of the citizens of MetroWest and Greater Worcester. In addition to his skills and passion for photography and unique marketing promotions and opportunities, Abram spends his free time volunteering at Strongwater Farm in Tewksbury, a therapeutic equestrian center. He also enjoys not getting a haircut and spending time with his family.

Stephen is an Army Veteran who served 10+ years in Georgia, Texas, Germany, and more, along with a deployment to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division. Together with his background as a handyman and engineer, he is committed to integrity and respect in serving the people of the MetroWest region, greater Worcester and beyond. Having settled in Massachusetts in 2016, he enjoys building LEGO and repairing/maintaining/enhancing his 18th-century New England farmhouse with his wife, 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 1 energetic rescue dog.

Summit spends most of her days sleeping, but every now and then she gets a burst of energy and has to run! Although she's not as fast as she used to be, she will still sprint to jump into any natural body of water she can find, whether muddy, stagnant, raging rapids, or otherwise. Hates baths, but does tolerate them.
