He explained beforehand what he intended to do – go under the house and construct a vent from the dryer to the outside since the previous vent had ompletely disintegrated. He was done within two hours, everything cleaned up and dryer put back to original position. We will definitely call Mr. Handyman again when we have projects around the house that are too big for us to handle.

Ali was amazing; did electrical work that involved removing a chandelier and installing a ceiling fan with lights, reinstalling the chandelier in another spot, changing a light and then some general contractor type of things like fixing drawers in a vanity. Very knowledgeable and very technically savvy.

The woman who answers the phone when we call the company is great. Frank was the guy who came out to do the work and he was fantastic. He made time and finished the job that was left unfinished by another company because I fired them. It felt so good to get everything done. It sounds expensive, but they can get through a lot of stuff in that time. He charged me on an hourly basis, but it was a good value. We pay $90.00 an hour, but the guy does 3 or 4 things in that hour. He did it just as I wanted. He was very well-dressed and spoke English beautifully. It was wonderful. I understood everything. I am going to hire them back. They are bonded and licensed. They gave me a 15 percent discount coupon because I left a report for them.

Ask for Steve!!! I realize it can be hit or miss out there. I had not used Mr. Handyman for six years. But I was fortunate enough to have Steve Stamp assigned to me for some carpentry work that I needed. He built a base for a water damaged under the sink kitchen cabinet that needed to be replaced, and also built a great frame for my crawlspace screen that has been without one for probably a year and falling out every other day. He also fixed a loose toilet seat and affixed a ceramic soap dish in my shower. I didn't even think he would have time to do these items, but he completed them! Not only was he honest and trustworthy, you can tell that he takes pride in his work–just by looking at the jobs he did for me. Now, if only everyone were like that in everything they do! (Believe me, the reason you do not see a lot of reviews from me is because I know about what's out there and this time of mediocrity that we live in.) Can I get an amen? ;) Steve treated me like he was doing work for a family member. Wow! (I've had family members not take as much care with my stuff! Serious.) I was really impressed. And all this to say, I will definitely be asking for Steve again when I need other carpentry work done around my house.
