I recently had a drainage system installed in my back yard. During the excavation a section of wall that had basically been underground was exposed and it became evident that that section of wall had been and would continue to be exposed to moisture during the rainy season. My landscape contractor has worked with the owner of Mr. Handyman in the past and recommended him to me. I called Tom Hofmeister, the owner, that very day and he came over I believe the next day. He had several ideas about the best way to seal this portion of the wall and we made an appointment for this week. I received a call from their office last night to remind me that they would be coming by today. They arrived right on time this morning. Tom came along to introduce me to the technician, Bernard Necker, and I assume to give him direction on the best way to accomplish the repair. What impressed me the most was that they really did not know what to expect until they cut into that section of wall. They ended up having to take a totally different approach to the repair than initially planned. Bernard did not miss a beat. He explained to me the problems they had encountered and how he was going to accomplish the repair. He did not charge me for the time it took to go to the store to pick up additional supplies and finished the job quite quickly. The job looks very professional and appears to be very well sealed against the rainy season and it did not cost me a fortune! I was very impressed with every aspect of this transaction and I anticipate using Mr. Handyman again in the future. Thank you for a job well done!

Jason was extremely polite and does fast and remarkable work. I must say for once i was fully and thoroughly pleased with everything he was hired to do and would not think twice on who to call if ever his service is needed again. You dont need to call around because they not only have the best prices you can find but they also have the most skilled employees you can find.

We had our kitchen light replaced. They were nice and did a great job.

Last weekend, my garbage disposal and over-the-stove microwave quit (they'd been working here–in a house that I inherited–since the 90s). I called the local Mr. H and their office sent Jason and his son right away. Great guys. Courteous, knowledgeable, focused, fast, they assessed the situation, gave me options, went out and bought the appliances, installed them, cleaned up, and provided what I thought was a very reasonable bill for services (with a senior discount). Problem solved. I've worked with this company twice before, and those experiences were also positive. It's reassuring to know, since I can't fix anything, that Mr. Handyman's available to remedy a variety of household issues while I work here at home. They've always been friendly, thorough with their explanations, and proactive in doing the work. I'll certainly call them when my next carpentry or plumbing crisis comes up.
