I was in the middle of creating a game room while my kids were away at camp and with just two days left before they came home, I attempted to hang a TV myself. It turned into a complete disaster. Not knowing anyone who could assist on such short notice, I called Mr. Handyman, explained the situation and my tight timeline, and they got back to me the same day. They were able to have someone out right away, and he promptly hung the TV. It looks perfect! Thanks to Mr. Handyman, I was able to pull off the surprise game room I had planned for my boys before they got home. I had a great experience with Mr. Handyman and would absolutely recommend them. They originally came in and quoted a house remodel job based on the scope we could see at the time. As the project progressed, we discovered several additional things that needed to be addressed. Rather than letting the scope and cost spiral, they worked with me throughout the entire process to find cost-effective solutions while still making sure the work was done professionally and correctly. I especially appreciated how willing they were to work with me to keep the project as close as possible to my original budget. They let me handle some of the things that made sense for me to do myself, such as picking up materials from Home Depot, rather than me paying for their technicians’ time to do it. They also worked with me on how the project was financed and took draws as the work progressed, which assisted me on the financial side of a growing project. There was excellent communication whenever something new was discovered. We would discuss what needed to be done, what the options were, and the most proper but cost-effective way to handle it. I never felt like additional work was simply being added to the bill without a conversation. Overall, they were professional, flexible, transparent, and genuinely seemed interested in helping me get the project completed the right way while respecting my budget. The finished work came out great, and I will absolutely use Mr. Handyman again for future projects.

We hired Mr. Handyman of Suffield, Enfield and Coventry to fix water damage in two bathrooms. Tim did an excellent job with the repairs and was a pleasure to interact with. He also thoroughly cleaned up afterwards, which we've discovered not every contractor does. This was our first time using Mr. Handyman and we've already started a list of other projects we'd like them to do.
