I had a variety of hardwired smoking carbon monoxide detectors in my house. That even with the new battery kept beeping. So I had all of them replaced. Including in my basement. The estimate was very straightforward. The man who came to the house for the estimate and who did the work was very professional And completed in the time they expected. Highly recommend. I’m now having more work done by this company because of such a great experience.

I had frozen heating pipes behind a tongue in groove cedar wall that required a plumber to cut into the and baseboard for about 20 lineal feet, leaving a mess! Rick and his helper were able to replace and repair the damaged areas. I had previously ordered the materials, but due to a stroke I was not able to do the work myself. Rick and his crew did an excellent job, great workmanship and they take pride in their work. They also stained and urethaned the repaired area.They also did several small jobs for me: replaced a missing banister rail on cellar stairs, added hand grips and grab bars at top of cellar stairs, replaced ceiling fan in kitchen, and replaced the flourescent light fixture above sink with LED fixture, replaced all ceiling lights with LED, replaced a dead fire alarm, replaced mildewed silicone in shower and replaced the personal shower and hose, etc. All this in eight hours, and they cleaned up when they were done. Scheduling was fast and wirk was done oromptly! Would use them again. A plus!

I originally requested a gutter installer through Home Depot to install a two-tier gutter system with downspouts on the back of my house, a Colonial with a high roof line, in northeastern CT. Mr Handyman replied within the hour, and was out at my house taking pictures to support a quote later that morning. I had the quote via e-mail within just a few hours. The quote was reasonable, and I scheduled a time to have the work done within the week. Mr Handyman’s owner and tech (Mohammad) showed up on time, completed the work in a timely fashion, and did an excellent job. They were very personable, polite, and made sure the work complied with what I wanted. When the work was completed (it took about 6 hours), the invoice matched the quote, despite extra time spent resolving a few unexpected difficulties. I really appreciated the diligence of Mr Handyman and techs on all levels, especially in the current environment of not being able to get good contractors in a timely fashion, or at crazy prices. I would definitely hire them again to do other work needed around my house.
