I spoke with several people from the company. All were very responsive and knowledgable. I had George assigned to my job and he was right on time and did a top notch job. I would definitely hire again.

Honest, profesional, punctual. I hired their services after reading some reviews about their company. Last year we changed our old carpet and when removing the old carpet from the stair stringers we noticed that there was a significant gap between stringer and wall. I called Mr. Handyman and the person who took my call was very nice and courteous, I tried to explain what the issue was and the guy (sorry can't remember his name), told me he had a technician on the area that could stop by and take a look (this free of charge). George arrived actually sooner than expected which was great, and he gave me a few options. A couple days later I called to schedule the job. George arrived that day, was punctual,very nice and professional. Finished the job in the hours he had estimated. He gave me the service invoice for which I wrote a check. A few minutes after he left, he knocked back at my door to tell me that, he realized he had overcharged me with some of the materials, so gave me the check back and gave me the correct amount for which I wrote a new check. I have to say that I was very surprised, if not shocked, by his honesty… another person would have just taken the money. I am very satisfied with the company and their work. Would recommend and would definitely call them again.

I recently engaged Mr. Handyman of NE Monmouth County and was extremely pleased with the experience. I needed gutter cleaning with a minor repair. There are a number of competitors specializing in this service advertising attractive price and Mr. Handyman was not the least expensive. However, my call was returned promptly by the proprietor; other contractors routed calls through to a call center or returned calls many hours later. This was encouraging so I made an appointment with Mr. Handyman. My contractor arrived exactly on time and completed the job well within the estimated time. The quote was based on duration of the job. My job was completed with some billable time leftover. My contractor advised me there was 'extra time' and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. As luck would have it, there was a little task I intended to do myself. Not being handy, it would have taken me 30 frustrating minutes. Instead, it took my contractor 5 easy minutes…and didn't cost me anything extra! To sum up: the scheduling process was great. The contractor was professional, courteous and performed quality work. The icing on the cake was volunteering to do the additional task since there was time I was paying for that had not been used. I would call on Mr. Handyman should the need arise and suggest you do to.
