The service was very good. The handyman was there right on time, his work (hanging shelves and updating the faucet in a bathroom) was very clean, professional, and well-done. Highly recommended.

My husband had cervical spine surgery early in January and was in rehab. Before his return home, we needed grab bars in our showers as well as hand rails along two short flights of stairs. I contacted Mr. Handyman (on a Saturday and holiday weekend), and to my surprise received a call back the same day. Ron explained his services and costs, and scheduled his craftsman Robert to come that Monday to see what was needed. Robert then returned on Wednesday and installed everything by end of day…great work, exactly what we needed and when we needed it. I'm very pleased with the quality of work, responsiveness, punctuality and overall professionalism of both Ron and Robert. The cost was more than I was expecting, but parts were the culprit, which I had underestimated. Rob addressed all my concerns before I paid the invoice. Overall, very happy with Mr. Handyman!

I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the ease of scheduling, and the wide variety of work completed. Understand that Mr. Handyman provides a premium service that is worth the price. No drama, no surprises, no excuses. The experienced, skilled carpenter, Dean, understood exactly what I needed done, and how to do the work. Little things matter a lot. He re-installed a previous, faulty installation of my bathroom shower doors. Now the frame is securely attached to the tub, sealed perfectly, and the work was done without so much as a single scratch on the tile walls (which is tricky, given that the aluminum frame has sharp edges when removed). I didn't have to ask for invisible clear calking along the tile walls and white calking along the seam with the white tub, or replacement of a little broken guide wheel at the bottom of the door assembly – these were just done, and done just right. Consider also the task of replacing a cracked limestone step at the front of my house. This job was finished perfectly. The pitch of the new piece is perfect for the spot it is in, the brick underneath was replaced and pointed exactly right, and the seams were sealed. This is the second time I have hired Mr. Handyman (Dean was the carpenter sent both times) and I'll hire this company again.

From beginning to end, the Mr. Handyman team was by far our best contractor experience. Always on time, whether it was the daily work, the initial quote, or even a quick review to make sure we were happy with the finished work. I can't tell you much that is appreciated. Dennis was our daily handyman. He communicated constantly and effectively, and allowed us to move around some of the initial work we asked for once we ran into problems, so that we could stay on budget and on timeline. Initially, we were going to have the team paint as well, but when we ran into delays because of the way the original drop ceiling was mounted, rather than tack on extra days and hours, we decided to paint ourselves. Dennis then worked out a plan to make sure that everything that needed to be done before painting began was done for us. All of his craftsmanship is excellent. He worked efficiently, and always stayed from 8 until 5 p.m., with only a 30 minute lunch. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have a contractor that doesn't pick and choose their hours, or disappear for a 2 hour lunch. We are extremely happy with the work. Our basement looks like a whole new place, and we even feel more accomplished having had a hand in some of the work. We will hire Mr. Handyman again and again.

Had an issue in one of our closets. Justin Sanchez came by and assessed the issue and was able to rectify it same day. Looks great!! Looking forward to having him back the next time we have some work to be done!!
