Mr. Handyman is the number you call if you want any home improvement work done around your house, and done right the first time. Over the years that I've used them, they've helped me out of numerous problems that popped up around the house. They've done everything from mounting my TV to the wall and hiding the wiring, repairing siding on the house, building Wayfair furniture, and even major plumbing repair. As a homeowner, I've had my share of experiences with unqualified and con-artist contractors. You know the type: unprofessional, do half the work in a shoddy way, never stay on budget or time, and disappear with all your money. Rest assured, Mr. Handyman is NOT like them. Unlike the majority of other contractors, Mr. Handyman takes your home concerns seriously and only employs people qualified to do home repairs. I could go on and on about how much I love this company and it's people, but in interest of space for this review, let me summarize all the reasons you need to hire this company. 1. They have a secretary that actually answers the phone and returns your phone calls. This puts Mr. Handyman 99% ahead of all the competition. 2. Their workers have at least 15 years of home improvement experience. Your home isn't going to be training ground for some newbie, you're going to be taken care of by a professional who knows what they are doing. 3. They are clean, polite, and respect your home. They wear shoe covers inside your home and clean up after themselves. 4. When they make an appointment, they show up on time. They even send you text messages along with a picture of the handyman who will be arriving. If you, or they, need to reschedule, they let you know well in advance and it's easy to get in touch with them. 5. You don't pay until the job is complete. They follow a fee schedule, you pay by the hour unless it's a major project that is negotiated separately (like a complete bath remodel). As for cost, yeah they are not the cheapest, but they are worth every penny for being reliable and competent. They always get the job done right the first time. I recently had them install shelving in my laundry room and it looks amazing. Mr. Handyman is the only handyman service I will ever use and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I called Mr. Handyman on Aug 31 & spoke with Donna who was very pleasant, professional & helpful. Made an appointment for Tuesday Sept 3 at a flexible time since technician had an 8 am appointment already. When he was done Donna called me to let me know he was on his way & gave me an approximate time of his arrival. Craig arrived on time and explained paperwork which required my signature and went straight to work. There was no guessing on what I'd be paying as prices were listed on paperwork according to how much time was spent on finishing job. He was so nice, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure when he was putting together the furniture that there was no way my dog Daisy would end up getting hurt (she loves people & has to be wherever they are) thereby closing bedroom door & working nonstop. He put both pieces together even making them sturdier so they would hold up better. He cleaned up & tied up the boxes as recycling was next day for me. He even hung up 2 big pictures for me. If you find other jobs that need to be done while he is completing original task just tell him & he'll do it. Normally I would be doing these things but since I have a breathing problem can no longer do the things I used to. I would definitely use Mr. Handyman again and would definitely ask for Craig again. Would definitely recommend their services. Well worth it.

We used Mr. Handyman to have a closet organizer installed. It was done to perfection, no mess and no issues. The technician was professional and knowledgable. We will use them again, and will recommend to our friends.
