I discovered Mr Handyman at the South Jersey Home Show on Sunday, March 1st. Robin explained what Mr Handyman does and now it works. For several years, I had wanted to get the old drop down attic stairs replaced because the old was not safe. I could not find anyone to do this. Robin said they had recently replaced an attic stairway. Mr Handyman was able to give me an over the phone estimate on Tuesday. On Wednesday they sent Steve and Mike out to confirm the measurements, purchase a new attic stairway and install it – all in the same day! The new stairway was lighter, handled more weight (375 lbs), easier to use and included good weatherstripping so I don’t lose heat in the winter. I will certainly be using Mr. Handyman again for those jobs that are too complicated for me but not big enough for other vendors. The best part was that all aspects of the job went exactly as planned so there were no surprises! I highly recommend Mr Handyman!

Technician was on time, identified himself, assessed what tools he required and began by reading directions required. Cory was friendly and polite, a true professional. He completed the task of assembling the recumbent cross trainer elliptical in a timely manner. I was entirely satisfied with his completion of the job and would recommend him highly. Joe Houdart

Wow!! Thanks soo much – Bernadette and Jose! Seriously, you guys have no idea how you've really come to the rescue and saved the day! (1) Love the TIMELY RESPONSIVENESS – I must've called over a dozen contractors; you were at least one of few that "actually" responded. I mean, at least responding to say you can or cannot commit right now would've been nice. (2) Sure, I get it, everyone is busy and not always able to respond with urgent requests, which is why I appreciated Bernadette's DUE DILIGENCE to assess that day's current workload and possibility / FEASIBILITY TO HANDLE THE URGENT CALL – which thankfully, worked out favorably. (3) My house (the project work site) is up there in NJ, but I'm working down here in Virginia at a site with restrictions to personal phones on-premises, so, I greatly appreciated OVERCOMING the phone-tag COMMS CHALLENGES and the FLEXIBILITY that your tech can still show up at the site, do the repairs, and follow-up with invoice & payment later – very convenient. (4) PROOF OF COMPLETED WORK & WORKMANSHIP QUALITY – esp. when not able to be present to actually see it – wow, certainly appreciated all those photos that Jose took, but was most pleasantly surprised to see a video clip that the gate can indeed swing close and self-latch, and the latch was at the coded height – functions to pass township inspection that must happen in a couple days! Can you see my tears of joy right now 🥲 I'm very much impressed–from reception to execution–and highly recommended for future services.
