I spoke to Phil Sattler on the telephone and he expained to me how they work. I then made an appointment for him to come to my house to to look at the work to done and to give me an estimate of the cost. Phil arrived at my home on time and looked at the work to be done. He then returned to hs office and emailed me an estimate. I then called Phil and asked him to send a carpenter to my house to do the work. The carpenter, Tom Milk, arrived on time at my home to do the work. He purchased the necessary lumber to do the work and then proceeded to replace the rotted fascia and soffit on my house. Some of the work was on the second floor of the house that he had to climb on a ladder, some of the work was detail dental design that he had to cut the wood in the same design and some of the work was a large soffit that had to be fitted overhead. Well, Tom, is a professsional carpenter and he could handle all of it. In addition, he was pleasent to work with and cleaned up everything when he was done. The price of the job came below the estimate.

Everything was done well. Called the Plainview Handyman Franchise at (516) 349-7500 since they are the only one currently listed as licensed in Nassau County, NY. Most contractors are too busy to take care of small repairs and are not available to show up when you need them. This company has experienced individuals who arrive as scheduled and get the work done. My repaired bifold doors do not look brand new, but they work well-for now we can postpone the expense of replacing them. If we decide to replace them, this company's workers will be able to install new doors. They currently charge by time. We expect that we will call them again as needed.

I called Mr. Handyman because I needed pictures hung. I also needed a towel rack hung in my bathroom. I have an eye for detail and I always want everything done perfect. They sent Dan and I am extremely pleased with the work he did. Dan is excellent. Dan gets the job done. He is very careful and precise. He is also very polite and professional. All of my pictures were placed and hung up perfectly. I am a very happy and satisfied customer. I am so glad I decided to call Mr. Handyman!!

Dan came on time for appointment, he check the basement stairs, found the problem and did the repairs that were needed. Clean up after he finished. Dan was friendly and knowledgeable.
