5 stars for team culture! I had a dentist appointment in Encino this past Friday and was waiting outside for my appointment time. The handyman suite was next to it and the door was slightly opened. They were having a team meeting and I was curious what the company was so I was listening in (outside). I heard one of the guys… probably a manager talking about a 5 star review that they just received and cheering the guys on. It was very refreshing to see a company with a positive team culture. Great job and keep it up!

They showed up on time, with help in a marked van and in uniform. As our house was freshly painted and floored, they paid extra careful attention to that by putting cardboard down in areas they were working. They worked around my home theater installers who were also working at the same time and were courteous to them (Big Ben Mounts, also recommended). When there were issues, they pointed them out, told me an adjusted estimate and did the work. These guys prove "you get what you pay for" and while expensive, the work was top notch. I would not however recommend the franchise serving Burbank. Keep in mind all Mr. Handyman franchise locations are not equal.

Everything went well and looked great. However, the plumbing proved problematic. Pipes were old and had been neglected. But Dan never gave up and worked diligently until the job was done, all the while accommodating our schedules with concern for our inconvenience Even with the extra hours, he worked with his office to honor our original estimate! Daniel, Luis and Mark were a pleasure to do business with whether in the office or over the phone. Yes! We would definitely hire Dan and other contractors from Mr. Handyman again!

The woman who answers the phone when we call the company is great. Frank was the guy who came out to do the work and he was fantastic. He made time and finished the job that was left unfinished by another company because I fired them. It felt so good to get everything done. It sounds expensive, but they can get through a lot of stuff in that time. He charged me on an hourly basis, but it was a good value. We pay $90.00 an hour, but the guy does 3 or 4 things in that hour. He did it just as I wanted. He was very well-dressed and spoke English beautifully. It was wonderful. I understood everything. I am going to hire them back. They are bonded and licensed. They gave me a 15 percent discount coupon because I left a report for them.

I had a great experience with Mr Handyman. Dan came over to hang my TV, ceiling fan, and to fix a broken driveway gate. He was very friendly and respectful and did an excellent job. I was impressed with how quickly he worked. He was a bit late on arrival (no big deal), and without even asking they took off a good deal of money from the charge. I am already planning to use them again. I highly recommend Dan, he is an all around professional who clearly enjoys what he does.
