I called on Monday to schedule, and first availability was that Friday. I asked if they could do it any sooner, but they were fully booked and offered to put me on a wait list in case something opened up sooner. I received a call the next day that they had a cancellation and could come the next morning (nice to see the wait list was real and not something they tell you to appease you!) Gil arrived on time, I showed him the projects I wanted done in order of priority since i thought they would take 3 hours to complete…he told me he thought they could likely be done in the 2 hour minimum. He got all of my 3 original projects completed about 90 minutes…realizing he was finishing quicker than expected I checked my to "do list" and added one more small project that took us just under the 2 hours. Gil left all areas he worked in clean and how he found them. Yes, the hourly cost may appear a bit higher than other services, but you get what you pay for…they are professional, fast, efficient and do excellent work. I will 100% use them again, and will refer them to anyone else who needs odd projects done.

I had already replaced another windowsill using a (non Angie's List) recommended handyman with not the best results (does not quite match the rest of the window). I decided to try Mr. Handyman after reading reviews on The List and because I'd like to find a person or company that can be relied upon to do all kinds of work on my home as needed… I was very pleased with the service from this company–beginning with the phone estimate and confirmation call by Debbie and continuing with the punctuality, professionalism and excellent work done by Chad. I probably could have found somebody to do this job for less money, but having gone down that road before and being disappointed, I am fine with spending the above amount for quality work. Also, having limited days off, it means a lot to me when someone shows up and gets the job done right and on time. My new windowsill looks nice and is true to the original design. The job took just about 2 hours.

In a nutshell, a priceless find! An interior door that wouldn't shut properly was a matter of twenty minutes work for Gil. He diagnosed and solved a problem (hinge bind) which we had been hassling with for ages. Then he changed out some faulty electrical switches, equally seemingly effortlessly. I can't describe the feeling of having found the answer to domestic smooth-sailing. Everything about this company is straightforward, professional and competent. Highest possible recommendation!
