After being burned in the past by random Nextdoor, Craigslist, and other independent service providers, I can confidently say that Mr. Handyman of Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield is the real deal. Scheduling was a breeze. I received follow-up texts and emails, arrival updates, and information about the technician coming out. From the start, everything felt professional, organized, and reassuring. Michael arrived exactly on time, diagnosed the issue, and took the time to explain every aspect of the bathroom light and fan. He discovered that the light switch was cracked in half and that a hot wire had been disconnected, which was a major fire hazard. The previous handyman I found online had most likely caused the issue and had incorrectly installed the fan as well. Michael quickly installed a new fan and explained both the parts warranty and labor warranty backed by Mr. Handyman of Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield. The pricing was probably a bit higher than other options, but believe me, you get what you pay for. What I paid for was a licensed, bonded, and insured technician, an incredibly professional team, clear communication, warranties, and peace of mind knowing the work was done correctly. I received much more than what I paid for: a premium service from a company well deserving of a premium price. I will absolutely be using Mr. Handyman of Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield from now on.

Honestly I’d give 6 stars if I could. Super fast work and it turned out way better than expected. They even fast tracked the job since we were selling our house. Highly highly recommend.

I had 3 ceiling fans installed from scratch, in rooms that had never had any. Both Shannon in the front office and the techs who completed my job were professional and courteous. I am very pleased with the work that was completed.

The worker (Kyle) was on time and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He also gave me tips on other things to do to my shed.the service was done in a timely manner. After he left I called to have an item changed and he was able to come back and help me.
