Excellent work by a kind, efficient, prompt technician!

I called four handymen services. Mr. Handyman was the only one with an office staff to take my call. Since they could schedule when I telephoned, they got the job. We discussed the projects and I was told an approximate length of time. I was also told that the floor project could be minutes or could be hours due to the nature of the Pergo floor product. I was also informed that there were no subcontractors and each employee was bonded and insured. Further, we were able to schedule to do the work the next day. <br /> Brett was late, but the office called and informed me of the late arrival and the revised approximate arrival time. I appreciated that call. Since the start time was in the middle of rush hour, traffic happens. <br /> Once he arrived, Brett covered the costs again and looked at my list of items. He then got right to work and did not stop or waste time. Two of the projects (attach loose duct, fix kitchen cabinet took hardly a half hour). On the floor issue, he discussed the issues with the flooring and what could be done. He then fixed the one floor issue and explained what would need to be done if the panels needed to be replaced in the future. For the second floor issue, Brett explained that either the floor would have to be removed going back to the wall. Or, in a simpler manuever, how to work the gap so that it would be under the fridge. He seemed to have both goals: repair and the budget in mind. <br /> He finished in the time expected, collected his paperwork and was gone. <br /> Mr. Handyman will be the first call next time.

I was happy with them. They will take care of small things like a slow leak in your toilet. I was really happy with them before, the few times they came out. The guy that came out did like 6 or 7 different jobs. He actually pointed out things that were important that needed done, that I didn't know about, like soffet and fascia on the corners of the house. Those were rotting to some extent so he fixed that. The trim around some of my windows was getting old, so he did some restoration and some painting of the trim and even some of the front of my house that needed painted. He replaced the part of the attic that is shaped like a triangle on the side. That had holes from woodpeckers and small animals were getting in so he fixed that. My mailbox was starting to lean, he put some concrete in it to hold it up. There was a door that had a loose latch on it and he fixed that. It was a variety of little things like that, and he did a good job. Yes, I would use them again.
