Local Door Repair and Installation Services in Fanwood, New Jersey

A very positive experience with this company. We had some minor roofing/chimney damage due to hurricane Sandy. Most of the contractors were even not bother to call or said they were busy. Mr. Handyman proved "No Job is Too Small" ! We called the company on 11/13 and spoke to one of their technicians Bruce. He was very polite and explained how they work with clients by hourly billing. On 11/17, Greg came to my house and took him less than 3 hours to get everything done for us. We end up paying less than $250 which is about 1/2 of the amount we initially thought we would have to pay if using other contractors. We definitely will use them again in the future!

<p>I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the ease of scheduling, and the wide variety of work completed. Understand that Mr. Handyman provides a premium service that is worth the price. No drama, no surprises, no excuses. The experienced, skilled carpenter, Dean, understood exactly what I needed done, and how to do the work. Little things matter a lot. He re-installed a previous, faulty installation of my bathroom shower doors. Now the frame is securely attached to the tub, sealed perfectly, and the work was done without so much as a single scratch on the tile walls (which is tricky, given that the aluminum frame has sharp edges when removed). I didn't have to ask for invisible clear calking along the tile walls and white calking along the seam with the white tub, or replacement of a little broken guide wheel at the bottom of the door assembly – these were just done, and done just right. Consider also the task of replacing a cracked limestone step at the front of my house. This job was finished perfectly. The pitch of the new piece is perfect for the spot it is in, the brick underneath was replaced and pointed exactly right, and the seams were sealed. This is the second time I have hired Mr. Handyman (Dean was the carpenter sent both times) and I'll hire this company again. </p>

I like the response time for my requests and the competency of the handymen.

Dennis was assigned to our job. He was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He gave a very good estimate of the work that was involved and did a fantastic job, which due to the nature of the project, required that he return over two days to complete the staining. He was meticulous and left no mess. We are already planning for our next project with Mr. Handyman!
