Carlos was amazing in the planning of creating a way to close the open area going down our basement steps, by designing an open partition railing. He understood exactly our concern about the safety issue and drew out his diagram to meet that concern. He gave us a supply list and we are picking up the lumber, etc which is an easy thing for us to do, and we are set to start in a week. He is professional and detailed and we are completely confident this will be a 100% fix for this issue. The Handyman has been impressive to work with and will be our go to company for any work we need done in the future! I will also give them out to friends to use! 10++ March 10, 2024 This is an update to my previous post above. Carlos completed the work on our railing and stairs and it looks amazing!!!!! It exceeded our expectations and then some!!! A true gentleman and master carpenter!!! Attached are 2 photos, one is the downstairs wall Carlos built to secure the open area on the steps and the 2nd one is the view of the stairs from the top of our steps from the kitchen. he needed to build the partition in the first picture so there would be a wall like structure to support the new railing and so we would not fall through the open area when walking down the stairs. he also laid on each step, a rubber step cover with coarse grit on the surface to assure a safe step each step down. it is actually used around outdoor pools to prevent slipping on the wet concrete around the pool area! ***** stars.

Great service.Used them twice for a couple repairs a just couldn’t do myself!.? Fair priced fast response,and knowledgeable handymen/ and or women! Thanks for taking care of the headache//aka honey do’s that i just couldn’t handle myself! well worth the cost!!!

Highly recommended. I called Mr. Handyman about a damaged gable vent I needed replaced. They sent out Carlos B. to replace the vent. He was professional from the first minute and left no trace that he was even there after the work was completed. I will be using Mr. Handyman for future projects. Pricing is very reasonable.
