Robert was knowledgeable, courteous, patient and very clean. He used the best materials possible, arrived on time and knew exactly what he was doing. This is the second time that he did a job for us and he comes highly recommended.

I have never had a better experience with anyone I've used to do basic repairs, installation, or improvements. Never. I have enormous admiration for the whole operation. It is a model for how any organization should be run. And to have done this with a business dealing home improvements and repairs — something always so fraught with anxiety — is simply amazing. And by the way, I actually am not the Steve G. below. I want to make this very clear. In 30 years of owning homes and apartments (only one at a time!), with all the things that have had to be fixed, all the contractors that have had to be found, all the jobs done well, all those done not so well, I have NEVER had a more positive, easy — even enjoyable — experience with any individual or company than the times I have used Mr. Handyman of Clark. Competent, friendly, honest, straight-forward, no-nonsense, I was going to say that this is like the way customer service used to be done in the "good old days." And that may be true. But having been around for those good old days, I simply can't recall a business of any kind that combined competence, friendliness, and value the way Mr. Handyman does. I really can't say much more. My walls were fixed, door knobs replaced, fans installed and more. But what I really marvel at is that I felt so good about the whole job. That's not something I ever expected to find, a home improvement and repair business with a staff that leaves you feeling — not just satisfied — but really glad you used their services. I am not a relative of the owners, nor do I have any personal connection. I'm just satisfied, really satisfied.

I called Mr. Handyman on Wednesday, February 6 and set up an appointment for the following day. On Thursday, February 7,they called to let us know that they were running behind and gave us the option to reschedule. We did so, for Saturday, February 9 knowing full well that the weather could cancel that appointment. On Friday, February 8, they called informing me that a service man was in the area and could perform the work on this day. We accepted, they called when they were a half an hour prior to arrival. Gary, from Mr. Handyman, arrived at 11:30, looked over the job and told me it would be a two hour job. He carefully went over the time and price with me. The work was completed on schedule. Gary was professional, brought his own drop cloths, and due to the snow put on footies over his shoes so as not to track snow in the house. We found this very considerate. Upon completion he cleaned the work area. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the response time and especially the work as it was completed as we had been told. Gary was neat, quick and completely professional. We are definitely going to consider Mr. Handyman for any future jobs.
