Thank goodness for Ronald! He is very meticulous, resourceful and a true craftsman; the best I have come across in 20 years.

Everything was done well. Called the Plainview Handyman Franchise at (516) 349-7500 since they are the only one currently listed as licensed in Nassau County, NY. Most contractors are too busy to take care of small repairs and are not available to show up when you need them. This company has experienced individuals who arrive as scheduled and get the work done. My repaired bifold doors do not look brand new, but they work well-for now we can postpone the expense of replacing them. If we decide to replace them, this company's workers will be able to install new doors. They currently charge by time. We expect that we will call them again as needed.

Oh my. What to say about dear Joe, our handyman, who works for this company., He is an absolute treasure! We used this company on and off for 3 months, doing capital expense projects like the kitchen renovation, to simply swapping out switches and installing fixtures. Joe is meticulous, and does gorgeous quality work. Steve and Bob in the office are always helpful, professional and pleasant. They come onsite to check on work if the project is large (like ours became). We will be calling them again in the fall, for Joe to come back and install ceiling fan, and other small jobs. Would highly recommend this company. We didn't work with Dan, as he was on other jobs, but he is supposed to be excellent too. The hourly rate isn't inexpensive, but the quality of the work is well worth the cost. Total cost below is for all the work done between February and end of April. Joe was here alot.

I cannot say enough good things about the company and especially Brian. From the time I made the first phone call to the time Brian finished the job, we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. Brian wore cloth booties whenever he came into our house and was courteous, understanding, and a true professional. The work was done perfectly. Although we paid by the hour (quarter-hour after the first 2 hours) he wasted no time and completed the work in the shortest time possible. We greatly appreciated the effort he and the company made in keeping the cost down. Before the appointment John and Phil told me what I would need to buy and have on hand. Although it cost me over $300, I was able to return $200 worth of items, due to Brian' ability and efficiency. This is a wonderful company with hard working and honest people. I would call them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone needing a handyman.
