Got the companies name out of one of the coupon mail books. Was hesitant, as I have had bad experiences doing business with other companies this way. Gave them a chance and they did a good job. Brad was the main tech, then the owner Joe came about 30 minutes later. They installed my crown moulding in the living room, hall and back bedroom. Had all the moulding painted and ready to install. Very satisfied with the end result, and will call them again when I need something I can’t do.

We recently bought a house– we could see that the previous owners had cut out some areas of the lower deck and replaced them with new pieces of board, so we thought all necessary repairs had been made, and we just needed to paint the deck to match. However, we discovered a nasty surprise when my wife went outside the day after escrow closed. She went out (barefoot), to measure the deck for new patio furniture and her foot went right through a board. The hole was adjacent to a recent repair. This concerned us quite a bit. We hired Mr. Handyman to first come out, take a look, and prepare an estimate. After hearing the estimate from Laramie, we immediately agreed to have them make the repairs. Laramie returned a couple of days later and began to work. Once some of the boards came off, it became evident that the joists had severely rotted throughout the deck. We hadn't felt all of the damage from the surface, because the previous owners had done some patchwork repairs to mask some of the damage–but once the boards came up, the extent of rot and structural damage in the deck's foundation was clear. We ended up having them demolish and rebuild the deck. They did the job for a fair price and kept at it until the job was done, even when it went far over time and working until the light was gone each day. All three of the representatives we met from their company (Laramie, Joe, and Matt) were exceptionally professional and friendly, as well as knowledgeable and hardworking.

I would definitely recommend Mr. Handyman. They are a little pricey, but overall a good company! My Service Tech, Steven, was the absolute best! He was personable but very professional. He hung several wall hangings and a TV on my screen porch (brick wall). Steven didn’t rush through, he took his time and he was very mindful and careful with my walls. He really pays attention to the details and wanted to make sure that I was happy with everything. Steven is a 10++++ and definitely a keeper! I will definitely request him again!
