They were supposed to show up at 2 in the afternoon, but instead called us at 2pm nd told us they needed to reschedule. They explained the job before us had run later than expected. I would have appreciated a call earlier. However, they came out within 2 weeks, which was agreeable. They did an outstanding job! The roof extended further than normal over the gutter opening, so they did most of it by hand. They cleaned up everything as they went along. there was nothing on the ground after the job. You wouldn't have known they were there except for the gutters working so good. We also had some moss on the roof, so they treated all of it. They were very informative about everything that they did, however I would have liked for them to have told me that they were going to buy moss treatment. The guy who did the work was not very professional though. He did not thank me for the job, and just left as soon as he was done.

I was satisfied with their service and I had no problems. They came on time and did what they were asked to do at a reasonable price. I would use them again. They sent one person out to do the job and I thought he did a good job.

The tech who did the work, Brian, did and excellent job on all the tasks I needed done. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. And he wasn't a jerk — which seems like a back-handed compliment — but I get so tired of having service people of the male variety who talk to me like I'm an idiot. (OK, so I may well be an idiot. Brian just didn't make me feel like one.) I definitely would hire Mr. Handyman again.

Mr. Handyman did a very thorough job with the siding damage. He started by going into the attic to check for bugs (there were none) and to make sure the woodpecker wasn't living in there, and since it wasn't, he reinforced the area from the inside with metal sheeting (in case the woodpecker returned someday). Then he did the siding work from the outside (on the third story of our house) using the materials we provided. He also installed our fake owl on the roof to deter future woodpecker visits. While he was up there, he proactively caulked around our chimney because the previous owners hadn't done this and he was concerned we might see damage from that eventually. We decided not to have him install the living room lighting fixture because he was concerned (and he was right) about asbestos in the popcorn ceiling. This experience with Mr. Handyman was outstanding – better than we had hoped for. He was on time (early, actually), very professional and knowledgeable, and efficient. We will definitely hire them again when we need help with projects.
