Meet the Friendly Team at My Handyman of Ann Arbor, Saline, and Chelsea

Greg Kemp has owned My Handyman of Ann Arbor, Saline, and Chelsea since 2012. Greg holds a Michigan Residential Builder’s License and has more than thirty years’ experience in customer service related industries. Greg is very passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience starting with always being available to employing highly skilled, background checked, professional, presentable, and personable Service Professionals. Greg’s goal is for My Handyman to be your one-stop shop, whether it be a simple task like drywall repair or painting to more complex projects like a bathroom remodel or finishing a basement. Greg is originally from Texas, where he met his wife Mollie, a fourth generation Ann Arborite. After four years in Phoenix, Mollie convinced Greg to move to Michigan to start a family. Mollie works for Dexter Community Schools and they have two beautiful children.

Blayne joined the team in 2014 after two tours of Afghanistan serving in the US Army. Blayne is here to assist our customers and support our Service Professionals in the field. When not at work, he has two energetic daughters who keep him busy.

Tamira is the first point of contact with the My Handyman Team. Her extensive call center background has taught her how to handle just about any situation with grace and professionalism. When she told us in her interview, when working for Comcast she could calmly and patiently teach an eighty year-old to program a DVR, we knew we had the right person. Our customers appreciate her friendly and helpful demeanor.

Brad joined the company as a Service Professional in 2017. Brad has held a Michigan Builder's License and owned a drywall company. His skillset and work quality are second to none. Brad has two adult children and two grand children. We keep Brad busy, but somehow he finds the time to run a business with his wife breeding German Shepherds.

Dennis Long, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the trades, offers expert handyman services. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship, Dennis ensures high-quality results for every project he undertakes.

Darrick has a passion for the trades, so much so, he is working on obtaining his Michigan Builder's License. Darrick is very talented with an eye for detail and perfection. We hope you appreciate the quality of his work.

James is a seasoned Service Professional with over 20 years of experience in the home maintenance, repair, and remodeling industry. Known for his commitment to delivering high-quality work, James excels in transforming homes with meticulous attention to detail. His dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience sets him apart, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard. James's expertise and professionalism make him a trusted choice for all home improvement needs.

Roy Wilson, a skilled Service Professional with My Handyman, brings over 20 years of experience in remodeling and repairs throughout the Ann Arbor area. After time in the IT field, Roy returned to his true passion—construction—where he thrives on solving problems and turning clients' visions into reality. Known for his versatility and dedication, Roy takes pride in making projects seamless and stress-free for homeowners and businesses alike.

Curtis Smith relocated from Arizona to Ann Arbor when he was young and graduated from Gabriel Richard HS. He moved to Colorado for college and spent time in Texas before returning home to Michigan. With a passion for carpentry, painting, tile work, and drywall. Curtis brings a wealth of hands-on experience to every project he takes on. His outgoing personality and dedication to client satisfaction make him a wonderful addition to the My Handyman of Ann Arbor, Saline, and Chelsea team.

Matt Smith, a Pinckney native and graduate of Pinckney High School, went on to study Computer Arts at Eastern Michigan University and Washtenaw Community College before building a successful 25-year career in IT as a Creative Director. Driven by family and a passion for hands-on work, Matt transitioned from the tech world to help his son and daughter-in-law launch a handyman business, ultimately finding his calling by venturing out on his own as a Service Professional. Matt brings the same dedication and problem-solving mindset from his creative career to every project he takes on for his clients.
