Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Mr. Handyman serving Greater Jacksonville

I use this space to offer helpful tips and suggestions which I hope are valuable to home and business owners. Whether you do it yourself, or hire someone, educated consumers make better decisions.

Today, I want to reflect back on 2022. COVID has taken a backseat to the flu and RSV. Inflation surfaced for the first time in over a generation, fuel prices soared for a while, Russia invaded Ukraine and talk of a recession has soured consumer confidence. It is a double-edged sword right now. We have inflation, and the higher interest rates meant to tame inflation.

In spite of this Mr. Handyman had a record year in number of customers served in 2022. We were recognized with the Bold City Best award, and the Super Service Award. We crossed the 400-review total on Google in 2022 and continue to get great feedback. We have a 4.8 Star rating on Google and an A+ rating on the BBB as I write this.

What is great about all of these recognitions is that it comes from you – our readers and customers. Via votes and reviews customers provide feedback that says they enjoy working with Mr. Handyman. Our goal is not to win awards, our goal is to provide a consistent and remarkably better customer experience. We are licensed and insured, have staff in the office to take your call, seasoned professionals in the field – each drug screened, and background checked – to serve your needs, and we back all work with our Done Right Promise. By delivering that consistent and remarkably better customer experience the awards seem to follow.

They are validation, and we appreciate the recognition. It is very rewarding to work hard and be recognized for doing that. Thank each and every one of you that have utilized Mr. Handyman over the last 15 years, we look forward to supporting any future needs that may arise. For those of you we have not served, I hope we get that opportunity someday. Even for those of you that normally do most of what needs doing around the home, there will come that day (or project) where you simply do not have the time, proper tools, skills, or desire to take it on. That is where we can help.

Whatever you celebrate this holiday season, I hope you are able to celebrate it with people you love. Our careers, homes and hobbies occupy a great amount of our time, but for most of us our personal legacy will be the family we raise – and how they remember us when we are gone. Cherish your time with family this holiday season.
