Local Drywall Services in Beverly Hills, California

First of all unlike the handful of services I tried to reach this was the ONLY one that immediately picked up my call, I was greeted by a knowledgeable representative by the name of Jack. He went over my list of issues and selected a technician by the name of Ed and scheduled me for a time. He was there at the agreed upon time as promised, we went over the issues and he was able to complete all of my projects ( no need to call 5 different companies ) significantly under his initial estimate. I've had a significant amount of experience with GC's and Handymen but have never received this level of service from a company. I'll definitely be using them again!

From the moment we called Mr. Handyman, until the job was finished, we were happy with the professionalism; price; and quality of the personnel. They promised us someone would come to fix louvred doors and shutters in two days, and then called us that there was an opening the next day. Before Jack arrived, Mr. Handyman emailed us a picture and resume of him. Jack was wonderful. He did finished the job in much less than the two hour minimum, and then asked if there was anything he could do for us. Of course there was, and he finished those little things for us as well. We would recommend Mr. Handyman and their entire outfit–they are a big city "handyman" organization with the same qualities that we came to expect from the local handyman that we all knew back in the 50's. We salute them on their care and quality.

Sometimes the best example of the integrity of a company is how they handle situations that went a bit wrong. After a very long bathroom remodel (not done by Mr. Handyman), I needed our old door re-hung. Donna Marie sent out a man who was very competent but not clear about giving me a final estimate BEFORE he started the job. Nor was I told that it would be quicker and cheaper to just buy a new door and prefabricated door jam. So I had to send him to Home Depot to buy a few extra pieces of wood and some electrical covers. This drive time was part of their hourly – which isn't cheap. Plus he couldn't put the supplies on my Home Depot card as it's their policy to put supplies on the Mr. Handyman card and charge the customer a pretty hefty surcharge. I was really upset about this. And then, 8-9 hours later, he is still working on the door jam. Hanging the door was costing me close to $1,000.00 and he wasn't even done! I told him to just go and I'd have someone else finish it up. But don't let this discourage you from using this franchise of Mr. Handyman. Donna Maria called the next day to find out how it went and she clearly got an earful from me. She was very apologetic that I didn't get a clear written estimate of the time it would take to hang the old door vs. the time and cost of just buying a brand new one. Then she offered to send another guy out the following day – at no cost – to finish the door and do any small things I needed done. So even though I spent much more than I would have normally the first day, having a guy out here for a few hours for free made up for it. The work quality was excellent and their insistence that I be 100% satisfied with the work and the price and the follow up is why I will use them again. The customer service was excellent and they made it all right in the end.

We purchased an Angie's List Deal for 4 hours of Handyman services for $455.00 from Mr. Handyman. Quinn from Mr. Handyman for our area arrived early for our scheduled appointment. We explained what we needed done and he got right to work. Quinn removed water damaged fascia and replaced the 10' precut fascia section in an 1-1/2 hours and then started to work on outdoor cabinet doors that needed replacement. The cabinet doors were precut, ready for installation. Mr. Handyman cut and installed the required interior casing and installed cabinet hinges and handles, however, ran out of time to install the magnet catch on the doors.
