I had a security screen door put on my front door. Very happy with the level of service. Had Mr Handyman many times. They do good work.

This is the second or third time that I have used Mr. Handyman. They are very friendly and they get the job done. If there is any debris, they clean up and are very professional. They do follow-up calls to see if you are satisfied. I am very pleased with them.

Gil came out and assessed an elaborate, custom, 11 year old wooden structure over our patio. I felt fairly certain that some of the wood was rotting and needed replacing. Gil walked every inch of the structure and tested the condition of the wood with a sharp tool. He informed me that it is in very good condition and does not need any replacement. It simply needs sanding, sealing, and finishing to better protect it so that it lasts longer. And while this is a bear of a job, it's a much more preferable fix than complete or partial replacement of the structure. I asked him to examine a damaged column on the back patio, and he carefully evaluated that issue. He explained in good detail how the column was constructed, how and why the damage might have occurred, and what types of specialists might be able to repair it. He also assessed several plumbing concerns for me and gave me information and advice. I will have him back for several renovations in the near future. The company was very professional in scheduling and communicating with me. Gil was courteous, thorough, ethical, and honest in his assessment of the issues. He was reasonable and conservative in a situation where the customer might easily have wasted a significant amount of money. Some individuals might have jumped at the opportunity to sell me unnecessary repairs. This experience was a breath of fresh air!

I've been using Mr. Handyman for years but never took the time to leave them a review. Anything from small little sink clogs to putting in some grab bars for my mother, I don't really worry about going anywhere else for handyman work. I used to struggle and spend hours in calling handymen through yelp or thumbtack or what have you and those guys are just wild cards. You never know if they'll pick up their phone or, in my worse case scenario, leave the job and never return again! I like that this is an actual company and they guarantee their work for a year. It's like Amazon. I just go to them for anything I need. LOL! I tell all my friends to go there too. I might even ask them to redo my kitchen cabinets for me next. And build a custom island? Whoah!
