Showed up on time and completed the instillation process on time.

After trying and failing to replace a leaking water line to my refrigerator myself I scheduled a repair appointment with Sears only to be contacted the day of that they don't do plumbing. I had some electrical work that needed to be done as well, so I looked for someone who could do both. I was a little hesitant to use a handyman company due to a previous experience when the repairman was unable to complete the work I specifically requested, and I ended up looking for things for him to do since I had to pay anyway. The benefit of having one person do it all led me to call Mr Handyman of Baltimore County. I called early in the morning and they were able to fit me in that afternoon. I was reassured that if they were unable to do the work as promised, I would not be charged. The repairman showed up an hour early. He was very efficient in his work and had a clear understanding of what was involved. He was able to perform both the plumbing and electrical work and was kind enough to let me watch so I could understand what I had done wrong with the refrigerator line. I had been told ahead of time to pick up the replacement items I wanted and I did have to run back to the hardware store while the repairman was here to exchange one of the items, but that allowed him to keep working. He finished all the work in a little over 2 hours and left everything very neat. I thought it was expensive, but if I had hired a plumber and an electrician I'm sure it would have cost me more and I would have had to find time in my schedule for 2 appointments. Overall I was very pleased and would hire them again.

We needed to replace the ceiling fan in our screened-in porch. Normally, this would be a job I would handle by following the instructions that came with the fan. But at 79 years old, I’ve experienced some serious health challenges this year, and my balance has been affected. My wife insisted we find a handyman since the fan was mounted almost 12 feet high at the peak of the cathedral ceiling. After contacting 3 other “Handymen” for estimates, I came away feeling they were not really experienced with household electrical systems. I was not looking for a handyman who needed to look up how to do the job on YouTube. I called “Mr. Handyman“ and I was impressed with the professional manner they handled my call and scheduled one of their technicians to do the job. The technician (Mr. Teddy Costello) arrived on time, had his own ladders, and all the required equipment to complete the job in less than 1 hour. Once the job was complete, he cleaned up everything and disposed of the old fan and hardware. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. If you are used to doing everything yourself, but find that for whatever reason, you need a handyman, do yourself a favor and give Mr. Handyman a call. I give them my highest recommendation
