Charlie arrived on time and replaced a vent cover on the side of my house that birds had gotten in had destroyed. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Adam was great to work with – he hung framed prints in our home and a towel bar in our bathroom, and did a tricky microwave install.

Joe responded to my Angie's List email in minutes and agreed to get the 1/2 day's worth of work done the next day. On the day, Bill got right to work and had the whole job accomplished in under 3 hours. The price was as estimated, and included bags and disposal. Cleanup was done well too.

Overall my experience with Mr. Handyman was positive. I placed an inquiry online on their website, and Marisa responded quickly by phone and we arranged for Joe (the owner) to come assess the jobs on site. Joe was very responsive, friendly and professional. He was easy to communicate with by email and phone to coordinate appointments. My only criticism is that he seemed to forget things (i.e., some parts of the job we discussed did not make it into the estimate; I had to remind him of an item that was on the estimate but which he had forgotten; and then a separate item listed in the estimate was not completed initially). To his credit, when I pointed out what was not completed, he later sent a tech to finish the job at no additional cost.

We have used Mr. Handyman of Greater Newton multiple times to maintain 2 one bedroom rental apartments located in an old Victorian house. The latest job involved repair of several significant drywall cracks, scraping and repainting old wooden windows, moldings and drywall surfaces, installing a new plastic laminate floor, along with a number carpentry repairs. We were very happy with the results: the painting and carpentry was excellent and the unit looked great when they finished – on time! The hardworking Mr. Handyman crew was very skilled and very professional in their behavior. Communication was excellent and their flexibility was greatly appreciated. Their price for the amount of work they did was very reasonable for a flexible service that responds as quickly as they do. Strongly recommended! We will certainly contract with them again.
