Mr. Handyman Asks For Your Vote

Bold City Best Voting is well underway. In fact, voting ends this Sunday (8/4/19 @ midnight). Mr. Handyman has made the finals again, this year in two categories: Best Handyman Service, and Best Home Remodeling Company. For those many readers that have had us into your homes for a great Mr. Handyman experience, we’re asking for your vote.

For those not familiar with the Mr. Handyman experience, we’re the antidote if you’ve experienced poor service, questionable quality, and trouble reaching somebody when you had a need.

When you call Mr. Handyman you get a live person. We figure that when you take time out of your busy day to make a call, that you want to speak with somebody. So, we have customer service staff to answer calls and questions, handle scheduling and dispatch. This allows the Service Technicians to work; and allows you to get the personalized attention you deserve when you call.

Speaking of Service Technicians, ours are employees, not sub-contractors. They’ve been background checked, drug screened, and average 15-20 years of paid professional experience. We control their schedule and hold them accountable for the quality of their work.

If you go read our thousands of online reviews across many sites you’ll find we have a great reputation. This is largely due to the experience level and quality of staff we hire. These are seasoned professionals and it shows in their work.

While we’re quite proud of our staff, we also realize they are human. If you do this stuff long enough something doesn’t go exactly as planned. So, all work is backed by our Neighborly Done Right Promise®. We don’t duck your call or make excuses, when there’s an issue we simply return and resolve it. While we always try to get it right the first time, our prompt handling of issues is one of the places we really differentiate ourselves.

The mix of things we do is another way we differentiate ourselves. We are licensed as a general contractor, and fully insured for your protection, but focus on home improvements, maintenance/repair and light commercial work. If your project requires an architect to draw up plans, we’re not the right company. But, how many projects around your home require an architect to draw up plans?

We use the term ‘handyman’ to convey that we’re a generalist; not a dedicated carpentry, drwall or paint company. We do carpentry work in all forms, drywall repair and texturing when needed, tile work from a simple backsplash to bathroom remodel, we generally paint any wood or drywall repairs we do, and often paint more in the process. We install doors, do odd jobs of all kinds, install things like grab bars and mini-blinds, the list goes on and on.

If you need a professional, safe and reliable home improvements, home maintenance/repairs, call the ‘best’ handyman in Jacksonville: Mr. Handyman ... and remember to for your Bold City Best favorites @
