Local Carpentry Services in Oakland, Florida

I'm giving this business 5 stars because the service has been consistently great. We've had three different workmen out to our house at three different times and we have been happy with the results. The first two were for putting up very long solid wood book shelves mounted to the wall, along the entire length of the wall, and the third time to repair drywall with texture, and including filling in a big hole from a water leak near the toilet, a very inconvenient place to work, btw. Lee R. Came to do the dry wall work and he has done an excellent job. You can't tell the old drywall from the new except for the compound he used to match the texture, which I will paint over. There were also many other rough spots on the other bathroom walls which he repaired and matched to existing drywall. We should have had this fixed years ago. It looks so much better.

Jose M. was very personal. He explained what he would be doing, how long it would take, and the cost. He cleaned up after he was done and gave instructions of what to do after he left( not use sink for 24 hrs). This was my first time using Mr. Handyman services and I will use them again. Mr Handyman came through for me again!!! I had a bad leak and Mr. Andrew came within 30 mins or less and fix the problems for me. He replaced all the parts and made things right again. They have 💯 percent of my endorsement.

Mr. Handyman is a class act. They were in contact with me from the minute I said yes to the work that I needed to be done. I was informed with a picture and a text of who was coming and he was on his way. Prompt!. Derek was polite, knowledgeable, communicative and a pleasure to have come work for me. Felt so bad for him though, he was in my attic, on a 99 degree day! Kept my eyes on him to make sure he was good. Had a problem, not his fault, we discussed it and came to a amicable solution. He was in contact with home base (Andrew) as well. The job, took much longer than anyone anticipated, with that and the heat I thought it would be rushed. But no! Poor Derek was drenched! I think he said he went through 3 shirts with 😓 sweat. Poor soul. At the end of the job, it was perfect! Works like a charm. Clean up was great, super clean up! He even put the cardboard in the recycling bin!!!! Offered him drink throughout the day, he declined. Gave it one more shot with an ice pop, and he took the offer! I'm glad. Thank you Derek and Andrew for a great job done!
