I left a voice mail message and received a call back the same day. The entire job went very well and the technician, David, was excellent. He arrived on time and was knowledgeable, respectful and personable. He went to the nearby Home Depot and purchased the peg board and the boards for the installation, returned and went to work. He worked steadily until the work was done. After a couple of days a leak developed in one of the shower heads, so we called and received an apology and arrangements were made for David to return the next day to fix the leak. He arrived with a great attitude, an apology and fixed the problem. So all is well, and we will not hesitate to call them in the future.

Eric showed up on time and was happy to tackle the projects we had lined up. He took down old smoke alarms and put up new ones. He installed an electronic lock on the front door and new regular locks on the other three doors.

This carpentry shop is simply the best. The care they put into their work is unmatched by any other carpentry outfit with which I've done business. They're expensive, but you get back every dollar you pay in the form of a first-rate, thoroughly professional job. The fact is, I can't afford NOT to use them. The worry I've saved myself because I know they'll do the job right — and the value they've added to my home as a result — has made employing them my only carpentry option, frankly. They have my highest recommendation.

A technician from Mr. Handyman of South Austin installed a new light pole and fixture in our yard this week. He was prompt and very professional. We will hire them again.

I needed my deck sealed for rodent prevention and reached out to about 8 different handyman companies for ideas and estimates. Multiple of those didn’t respond in a timely manner, but I got quotes from 3 including Mr. Handyman, who quoted me by far the least. I wasn’t totally sure how I wanted this done but Lisa was immensely helpful in sending me different ideas and pros/cons for each. As a first-time homeowner, I had a TON of questions and she was extremely responsive via text to all of them. We ended up going with a trench + concrete + mesh wiring + composite decking on top, and it looks great (and more importantly, should be a very solid barrier to any critters). Eric did a fantastic job and was kind, efficient, and professional. He took a little over a day when other companies told me a week, at no detriment to the quality of work. I’ll definitely be calling back when I need more work done, and I highly recommend them to others, especially newer homeowners who might need more guidance.
