They did a great job on electrical work that another company spent 4 hours on and was unable to resolve. This is our second project with them and they have been fantastic/superb on both. Friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

Jason did an amazing job. He fix the rotten wood above the garage door. Then he installed crown molding in my entry way.

How refreshing to hire someone to do a job and they show up on time and they do the job perfectly well! We couldn't be more thrilled with the renovation they made at our home! Neat. Professional. On Time!!!

First I feel it's important to give detailed reviews because people usually look at reviews to gauge other customers experience…So merely saying "great job" without elaborating in a landscape where reviews can be easily manipulated could end up costing someone in the end…SO I was on the hunt for someone to replace two sliding glass doors with French doors because clearly, I’ve decided my house needs a little je ne sais quoi..Well not really my English bulldog decided to run inside through my screen door instead of stopping… So I finally had a justification to replace the SGD I have hated since I built my home in 2020.. I did what most people do and googled "door installation near me", reaching out to Mr. Handyman using their online consultation form. They responded within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment for the very next week. I know—what is this? Efficiency? In home services? Unheard of it seems in Northern Kentucky.my questions. This was a stark contrast to the other services I reached out to, who needed a few weeks just to send me an estimate. I called Mr. Handyman on a Friday afternoon and had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday. Boom. Productivity. Now, I should mention they do charge an $80 estimate fee because you know labor, gas and company vehicles cost money so this wasn't a surprise or big to me..Plus I made the most of it by tacking on a few other jobs I needed estimates for which saved me the headache of playing scheduling Tetris with three different companies over several weeks for this little ankle biting jobs that need to be done.. When estimate day arrived, Chris showed up on time, in an actual Mr. Handyman-branded vehicle and uniform which these I probably should care about the workmanship to make my decision, but my professional career is in marketing and brand strategy so these things matter to me in companies I hire…If a company isn't going to invest in their "brand" with a website, company shirts etc, how for the love of baby Jesus am I suppose to trust they care about the work in my home? So I was pretty much sold before the estimate started based on the ease of access and website design and I believe I recall they said they were licensed and insured.. In 2025 this all should be standard, and it is everywhere else I've lived except NKY where most companies don't even have a website or if they do there's no online form.Or worse still still using a google emails as a business address? How is a customer going to trust work being done in the largest investment they make i.e. a home, if a company can't even spend $20 on a domain or company T-shirt for their brand…And I won't get on my soapbox about companies using "Facebook" as a website FFS… I've had "handymen" or "companies" show up in plain clothes, no branding, no website, and emailing me from addresses like [email protected]. At that point, I’m not sure if I’m hiring a contractor or setting myself up for a Netflix true crime documentary or contractor fraud..(ahem looking at you Faith Floors) On the day of the estimate, Chris came in, took his measurements, and kindly educated me that I had completely misread the builder’s blueprints and letting me know the correct size doors further demonstrating I'm so glad I had a professional out here to measure before ordering the doors.. The entire process was smooth, fast, and refreshingly professional. I canceled the other estimates because, frankly, Mr. Handyman had already won me over. I'll be moving forward with them to install the doors and will update/add another review regarding the work..But for me the estimate part is always the worst part in this whole process so I would highly recommend skipping the other local handyman services, unless you want to wait 3-4 weeks which let's face it, people usually call handyman type services to get the ball rolling to get the work completed.. Since it usually takes time to order the materials, get the HOA approvals and delaying that process 3-4 weeks just to get an estimate is insane.
