I am a multi-year residential client of Mr. Handyman of Anne Arundel and PG County, which has been providing me outstanding service, professional personnel and a new perspective on and definition of what the term "handyman" means. To me it now means "craftsman" of the highest caliber. Over the years Mr. Handyman's professionals have done it all, from tiling and painting and flooring, to bathroom and kitchenette creation from previously unfinished space, installation of dressing room cabinetry, garage refurbishment including flooring and shelving and additions to improve safety (i.e., steps and handrails), patio and fence repairs, and more…even installing a Murphy Door in the new bathroom. I have been introduced to new products and instructed on new or better techniques, had my incessant questions answered and been guided in purchases. Barry, my lead handyman from the beginning, saved me almost $2000 by insisting he could address a water pressure issue with two expensive faucets in my kitchen. I was ready to purchase replacements and told him there was no way he could "fix" the flow problem that even my plumber had declared an unsolvable mystery. But because I had and have total faith in his expertise, I told him to give his repair plan a try. It worked! Homeowners can be pretty ignorant (and left that way) absent working with someone who takes pride in his work and does it correctly, and who believes his clients deserve more than just an excellent finished product and a fairly priced bill. Mr. Handyman was prompt, professional & courteous from start to finish. I needed some crown molding installed and my deck power washed. I sent an email request for a quote and got a response 5 minutes later from Alan. He clearly explained different service options, how much it would cost, who would be doing the work and how long it would take. I was super impressed even before they showed up! On the day of service, they arrived on time and even called 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment to tell me they were on their way. They did a beautiful job with the crown molding and were very fast, despite the difficult corners in one of the rooms. (I attached a photo. Please forgive my bad photography skills! Everything looks tilted but the molding is actually perfectly straight) The power washing was top notch as well. Alan pointed out some problems with the masonry and some rotting planks on the deck, which I really appreciate. I will definitely be calling them again and will recommend Mr. Handyman to friends. Top notch, A++++ service!
