Scheduling the appointment by phone was very easy and the phone reps were professional and knowledgable. They sent me an e-mail confirmation of the appointment. The phone service rep even told me about a coupon on their website for first time customers. The handyman, Derek, arrived a few minutes early and got right to work. He did a great job hanging things up securely, level, and centered. He asked for my input, but not too much. Derek was quick, professional and cleaned up after himself. He also gave me some estimates for future projects we want to do, all of which sounded reasonable. Kudos- Derek happens to like dogs, so he was okay with my two dogs being in the house. Derek was in a clearly-labeled uniform shirt and his truck was clearly identified, too. Room to improve- I had to reschedule the appointment once by phone, but did not receive an updated confirmation e-mail. It would also be nice to get a confirmation call the day before with the name of the tech coming. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely use them again. <br />

Excellent job#

It was a great experience from beginning to end! Mike was awesome, and truly went above and beyond our expectations. I knew that I would like Mr. Handyman from the beginning with their quick response to my call, and their extremely prompt arrival. Appt was set for 8:00am, I was given a reminder call the day before the service, and exactly at 8:00am Mike arrived! I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and attitude from the very beginning. His day started by arriving at our house in the midst of absolute chaos! My elderly mother was in need of help, care hadn't gotten there yet, and the dog was going wild! He was patient and understanding (and didn't run screaming out of the house!). The job that Mike was performing was to install an electronic pet door in a newly purchased exterior door and then remove the old door and install the new one. He was careful to follow the installation instructions so that everything worked perfectly. While he was removing the old door, he noted that the wood frame was old and rotted. He removed all of it, but then went to Home Depot and got what he needed to replace it! Totally above and beyond the 'job request'. His work was outstanding! We will be hiring them for all of our 'odd jobs' in the future!

The sink had broken loose from the brackets holding it to the countertop. I made an appointment for 2:00 November 7. When they weren't there by 4:00 I called. They said they had me down for November 8 at 2:00. Told them I would be on an airplane landing in San Diego at 2:00 November 8. They offered to send someone right over. It was not convenient then, so we rescheduled for November 21. They arrived on time and completed the job in 1 1/2 hours.
