    Jim is the local franchise owner, owning the Mr. Handyman Central Norfolk County and South Shore since 2005. Jim is a life-long resident of the Greater Boston area, graduating from Westwood High School and then attending both Bentley College and Suffolk University, earning a master’s degree in business. Jim entered the building industry after graduation, earning his Builders License, and has worked within the construction industry ever since. Jim’s vision for the Mr. Handyman Brand is to provide premium work and outstanding customer service. He is a true believer in cultivating relationships with his customers, based on trust and respect, and inspires confidence that Mr. Handyman will deliver great work and customer satisfaction at a reasonable price. Jim is a staunch supporter of our military troops. He and his wife Robin worked on a local “Homes For Our Troops” project which provided a new home for a disabled veteran returning from active duty. As a brand, Jim continues to support our troops by offering a discount to military personnel for any work performed and reaches out to the local Veterans community annually to determine if there is a veteran who is in need of carpentry work as an appreciation for their service to our country. Jim has been married to his beautiful wife Robin for over 30 years, has four wonderful children and two energetic yellow labs, Guinness and Bruin. In his free time, Jim is an avid golfer and enjoys running to keep healthy, entering local road races and the Boston Marathon.

    Customer Service Representative

    Carol joined the Mr. Handyman team in 2015. Prior to joining Mr. Handyman, she worked in the retail industry for many years as a Direct Marketing professional. She is a life-long resident of the Greater Boston area, graduating from Westwood High School and earning a degree in Business from Merrimack College. Carol enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is a dedicated Boston Bruins fan. She enjoys walking and golfing in her spare time and is an avid reader. Carol is dedicated to providing great customer service to every customer.

  • Robin Prendergast

    Customer Service Representative

    Robin has been running the Mr. Handyman Central Norfolk County and South Shore office since its inception in 2005. She has a strong knowledge of the business and can discuss project details to fully assess the scope of the work. Robin provides fantastic customer service and a sincere desire to help every customer with their project needs. She livens up the day with her great sense of humor and positive “can do” approach to life. Robin is a life-long resident of the Greater Boston area, graduating from Westwood High School. She specialized in Advertising Art & Design at Blue Hill Technical School and is quite the artist in her own right. She is very family-oriented and loves to spend time with her husband, four children, two yellow labs, and her extended family. In her spare time, Robin loves to exercise, walk the dogs, bike, and run to stay healthy. She enters many local road races, and half marathons, to keep competitive and achieve her run-time goals. She is addicted to HGTV and on her days off you can find her, more times than not, enjoying the beach.

    Dave has been a part of the Mr. Handyman Team for over 10 years. He is a life-long resident of the Greater Boston area, graduating from Hingham High School and starting his career in Boston as a Carpenter, working there for 5 years. He then moved out of Boston and worked as an Apartment Superintendent for 22 years, putting his extensive collection of skills to good use and honing them. In addition to Dave’s vast carpentry experience, he is solid in electrical work, plumbing, painting, tiling, and many other handyman skills. He is the answer to your project needs whether you have a single project or a vast array of diverse projects to be completed. In his spare time, Dave enjoys traveling with family and working on old cars. He also enjoys his artistic endeavors. His artistry encompasses a wide breadth of materials such as copper, metal, wood as well as electrical/plumbing pieces, making unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

    Service Professional

    Eric has been a member of the Mr. Handyman Team for over 15 years and is a life-long resident of the South Shore of Massachusetts. Eric began his experience in the Carpentry world when he was 11 years old, helping his Carpenter father work on projects. Most of his life he has concentrated on interior Finished Carpentry work and has since expanded to more general carpentry projects over the last 20 years. Eric has continued to expand his skills to include Cabinetry, Tile, Stonework and Ornamental Ironwork. Eric takes his work very seriously and takes pride in his work. He wants every customer to be happy with his work. In his spare time, when not doing fun Carpentry projects, Eric is the vocalist in a band. He has been playing in a band for over 30 years, playing drums and various other instruments in addition to his vocal awesomeness. He also enjoys playing competitive darts. In the future he is looking forward to building a music studio in his house as well as a carpentry workshop.

    John has been a member of the Mr. Handyman Team for over 10 years and is a life-long resident of the South Shore of Massachusetts. John began his Carpentry career over 40 years ago and has added many additional Handyman Service skills to his list of abilities. Looking for some drywall or fence repair? John is your guy. With over 40 years of drywalling experience, John handles most of our significant drywall projects. He is also our go-to guy for your fencing project needs. John enjoys traveling and all sorts of outdoor activities in his spare time. Please join us in extending John a proud thank you for his years of service as a Marine. John enjoys meeting all customers, especially fellow service members, and helping to solve their project needs.

  • Keith Lazaron

    Service Professional

    Keith has been a member of the Mr. Handyman Team since mid-2020 and is a life-long resident of the Greater Boston area. He grew up in Braintree and graduated from Blue Hills Technician School before entering the Marines. Please join us in extending Keith a proud thank you for his years of service as a Marine. Keith has 40 years of experience in the Construction Industry (Residential, Commercial and High-end Homes) and was part of the Carpenters Union for 8 years. He has a broad range of experience and expertise in carpentry, construction, welding, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc. He lives in Foxboro with his wife and has 3 children and multiple grandchildren. In his spare time, Keith enjoys riding his Harley Tour Glide 1990 Classic across the country with his brothers and friends every year. He also enjoys salt-water fishing, boating, and working in the yard. In his more relaxing times, you can find Keith playing with his Grandchildren or watching the History channel.

  • Ray Florek

    Service Professional

    Ray has been a member of the Mr. Handyman Team for over 3 years and is a life-long resident of the Greater Boston area. Ray got his start in carpentry when he worked in a commercial cabinet factory doing both the manufacturing and the installation of the cabinetry. He then broadened his experience to include plumbing while working at Lowe’s in the Kitchen & Bath area, including the installation of cabinetry on the residential side. Ray then went to work with a contractor where his skills expanded even further by working on house additions, remodels, plumbing and electrical projects. Finish carpentry is where most of his work experience has been centered, and he enjoys this work the most. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and working out. Other hobbies include working on small engines. He likes to work on repairing dirt bikes, lawn mowers, and any other small engine machinery. Ray enjoys spending time with his two lovely children as well as family and friends.
