We recently moved from Fl to CO and had our house on the market. We had a buyer but our relocation company was making us do some extra repairs to wood rot they found during the termite inspection on the cedar posts out back. Being in Colorado and closing in 3 weeks, we scrambled to find a handyman service who could do the work in the inspection report quickly and without breaking the bank. Time was also of the essence. I called a couple of places and was a litte skittish leaving a message with an answering service so I called back the next day. I spoke with Wendy who was wonderful. I explained our situation (being in CO, having a buyer lined up and ready, and having the relo company requiring these repairs). She explained up front that they were not the cheapest but insured/bonded and had all experienced staff. They got someone out there within a couple of days to give an estimate. I sent them the inspection report and made it clear that we just wanted the minimum done since the buyers were getting a concession to take care of this. She understood. We spoke with Dennis who was reviewing the inspection report which wasn't very clear and he clarified exactly what we needed to do and came up with the most cost effective way to do it. Being under a deadline, they got all the information needed by the relo company back to us within a couple days. Then the buyer fell through because of financing. we had them go back out and give us a second quote on what it would be to fix all the exterior wood rot in anticipation of putting it back on the market. They got a second quote for us. We then were beneficial enough to get another buyer who wanted the house with no repairs (we still had to do the wood rot b/c of our relo company) so we went back to them a third time to go back to the first quote and again had them under a deadline. They just completed the work and it was at a fair price. They may not be the cheapest but the level of service they provided from Wendy at the office to Dennis in the field and their ability to be extremely professional and helpful when we kept changing what needed to be done and time frames was such a huge peace of mind. And the fact that we did all this from CO, I am very pleased. I am willing to pay a bit more if I get good customer service and they were tops, constant communication and consultations on how to best accomplish what we needed to for the least amount of money.

I have used this service twice now and am scheduled to use them again before the end of the month. I highly recommend this company. The technicians are very courteous, prompt, and do professional work.

My experience with Mr. Handyman was excellent. The scheduler was helpful and pleasant. The technician was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and conscientious. He worked quickly and was observant, even calling my attention to a wet spot he noticed on the floor of a closet. Without hesitating, he quickly checked out it's possible source & then informed me what to watch for and what to do next if it didn't dry up. it was easy and pleasant doing business with Mr. Handyman.

Couldn't ask for a better experience! Removed and replaced mirrors and over-the-sink lights in two bathrooms, removed medicine cabinets and patched up with sheet rock, repainted and patched to match original wall color and texture, removed and replaced ceiling fan in master br … all in one day! Great job!!
